Sapphire Sports CC is built on competitive cricket, teamwork, and brotherhood. All registered players and trialists are expected to know and strictly adhere to these club rules.
Core Pillars of Membership
Zero-Tolerance No-Shows
Selected squad players must attend match day. Unexcused no-shows result in immediate match suspension.
Arrival & Full Game
Arrive 45–60 mins early for warmups and commit to the entire match. No early exits.
Prompt Dues & Zero Chasing
Settle season and match fees promptly via Interac e-Transfer. We do not chase for dues.
Play to Win & Brotherhood
Compete with intensity, uplift your teammates, and maintain positive club harmony.
Paid-Only WhatsApp Access
Match polls, squad selections, and team communications are strictly for paid members.
1. Match Commitment & Zero-Tolerance for No-Shows
Honoring your selection, respecting your teammates, and squad reliability.
Weekly Poll Deadlines
Submit your match availability before the weekly cutoff to be eligible for squad selection.
Zero-Tolerance for No-Shows
Once named in the Playing XI, attendance is mandatory. No-shows carry immediate suspension.
24–48h Emergency Notice
If an emergency arises, notify leadership 24–48 hours ahead so reserve players can step in.
2. Arrival Punctuality & Full-Match Commitment
Professional preparation from warmups through the post-match debrief.
Arrive 45–60 Mins Early
Arrive ready for warmups, pitch inspection, and the captain's toss. Late arrivals risk losing their spot.
Stay for the Entire Game
Commit to both innings and the post-match talk. Leaving early or mid-match is strictly prohibited.
Active Match Duties
When off the field, actively assist with live digital scoring, boundary patrol, and square-leg umpiring.
3. Financial Integrity & Zero-Chasing Policy
Prompt dues payment, budget stewardship, and member responsibility.
Prompt Dues Settlement
Send package fees and match dues via Interac e-Transfer to payments@sapphiresports.ca (Autodeposit enabled).
Zero Chasing of Fees
Captains and admins are volunteers. Players with overdue accounts are omitted from match selection.
Non-Refundable Policy
All league registration and package payments are strictly non-refundable once committed.

Playing hard to win while uplifting one another as brothers.

Compete with heart, tactical discipline, and relentless determination from the first ball to the last.
Brotherhood & Team Harmony
Encourage teammates through mistakes. Blaming, negativity, or toxic drama leads to immediate removal.
Respect for Umpires & Opponents
Play within the Spirit of Cricket. Umpire decisions are final; dissent or foul language is not tolerated.

Coordinated team channels, selection notifications, and group etiquette.

Our team chat is the hub for squad announcements and polls. Access is strictly for paid members.
Automated Match & Dues Alerts
Members consent to receiving weekly availability polls, squad selections, and balance statements.
Group Etiquette
The group is strictly for cricket coordination and team encouragement—no spam, politics, or forwards.
6. Official Uniform & Equipment Standards
Representing the Sapphire crest with pride and professionalism.
Mandatory Official Jersey
Players in the Playing XI must wear the official Sapphire colored jersey and white cricket pants.
Protective Equipment & Gear Care
Bring certified protective gear (helmet, pads, gloves, spikes). Handle shared club equipment with care.
Ground Cleanliness
Represent the club with pride—clear dugouts, dispose of all trash, and leave venues spotless.
